The challenge of this project was to translate a series of live observation sketches into an anatomical illustration that informs the audience of form, structure, texture, and features of the anatomy. The technical goal in this project was using the traditional medical illustration technique of carbon dust. Pre-production sketches for this project were created from specimens in Grant's Museum, University of Toronto.
